I loved how [Austin Opera Teaching Artist] Julie used the pianoto actually demonstrate vocal ranges for each part and some of the warm up she does so thatwe can actually hear and experience what opera sounds like. She was so passionate when speakingabout opera and you can tell she really loves it. I was interested to hear how long it takes toprepare an opera and was kind of surprised in how much it varies between weeks to years.
