Serenata Co-Chairs Eva Womack, James D. Green Jr., and Bruno Brunner hope you will join them for Austin Opera’s major annual fundraiser, Serenata, on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at the Four Seasons Hotel Austin!
This season’s gala, Springtime in Paris, will honor longtime supporter, Trustee, and dear friend, Polly Barbaro, and commemorate her extraordinary contributions and service to Austin Opera.
With décor inspired by the Chagall ceiling of the Palais Garnier opera house in Paris, Springtime in Paris will whisk party guests away to the City of Light for a magical evening celebrating the sponsors and visionaries that make Austin Opera’s innovative programming possible. Festivities will include a gourmet four-course dinner curated by Executive Chef Elmar Prambs, exquisite French wines hand-selected by our wine and spirit sponsor Twin Liquors, luxury live and silent auctions, and an unforgettable performance by mezzo-soprano Claudia Chapa, who has recently joined Austin Opera as the Curator for Hispanic & Latinx Programming, and classical guitarist Arnold Yzaguirre. The evening will conclude with live jazz music and dancing to Austin’s The Copa Kings.
