Refund Policy

Austin Opera does not offer refunds of any kind on tickets purchased to its performances or events.

Exchange Policy

Austin Opera allows two types of exchanges within the same production: for an alternate performance date, or for different seats at the same performance. There is a $10 exchange fee per order. Note: this exchange fee does not apply to Austin Opera Season Ticket Holders if the exchange is prior to 24 hours of the curtain time. No other exchanges are permitted.

Call the Austin Opera Box Office at 512.472.5992 if you need assistance.

Rain Policy – “Tosca” at Circuit of the Americas

Springtime weather in Texas often means light sprinkles; the show will continue as long as it is safe for the audience, the orchestra, and the singers. Bring a light rain jacket or poncho just in case! Austin Opera might pause a performance for a stronger passing shower – not unlike a rain delay in baseball – and resume as soon as possible.

We fully expect each performance of Tosca to go on as planned; however, as at any outdoor performance, weather delays or cancelations are possible. If there needs to be a postponement of either performance, we will communicate with ticketholders via email by 3 p.m. on the day of the event, as well as post announcements on our website and social media accounts. In that communication, we will include all pertinent information including how to use your existing tickets and options for ticketholders. The rain date for Thursday, April 29 is Friday, April 30. The rain date for Saturday, May 1 is Sunday, May 2. Each performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. CT.

Can’t make it? Donate your seats!

If you are unable to attend or exchange your tickets for others within a particular production, Austin Opera invites you to donate your tickets back to the Opera.

Age Requirements

Austin Opera welcomes patrons age eight (8) and older to public performances. Children under age eight will not be admitted into the performance venue. There are no exceptions to this policy.
