Austin Opera is happy to share a variety of ticket programs and discounts for our productions at the Long Center for the Performing Arts. We are committed to sharing the power of opera with our community and are dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive experience.
$20 student tickets may be purchased in advance online or by phone. Full-time students may purchase up to 2 tickets in select areas of Dell Hall at the Long Center. Students may also purchase rush tickets the day of performance tickets two hours prior to curtain.
Valid Student IDs will be required at will call to receive the student ticket(s).
Educators at all levels (preschool through collegiate) save 15% on individual tickets. To purchase these tickets, please call or visit the box office in person.
Groups of 10 or more save 10% on Austin Opera tickets—the larger the group, the bigger the discount! Please contact Patron Services at 512-472-5992 for details and availability.

Military personnel (Active, Reserve, and Retired) and First Responders (Fire, EMS, Police, and 911 Operators) with valid ID save 15% on individual tickets.

Companion Ticket: Ages 8-17
With the purchase of a regularly priced ticket, a $15 companion ticket may be purchased for a guest, age 8-17 in an adjacent seat. Companion ticket is limited to one per regular-priced seat and based on availability within the purchased ticket seating section.

Please note: as part of our ticketing policy, children under age eight will not be admitted to the theatre. There are no exceptions to this policy.
