4th Horn Auditions - May 4, 2024
Austin Opera Orchestra will be holding auditions for the 4th Horn position on Saturday, May 4, 2024 (morning start time TBD), at the Austin Opera Rehearsal Hall – 3009 Industrial Terrace, Suite 100, Austin, TX 78758.
To be eligible:
- submit a resume (either emailed or mailed) to Beverly Frittelli
- mail a refundable $100 deposit to Austin Opera by April 19, 2024
Upon receipt, you will be emailed a link and password for the excerpts.

Excerpts are used by permission and provided for study purposes only. Please destroy them immediately after audition.
Please note: Austin Opera performs three productions a year at the Long Center in Austin, Texas. The Austin Opera Orchestra is not a full time orchestra. The scheduling for services for each production is generally spread over a 2-3 week period. Austin Opera does not provide any housing or travel. The Austin Opera Orchestra operates under a master contract negotiated between Austin Opera and Local AFM 433.
