This program will explore themes from Cruzar, including immigration and the Bracero labor program.

Consulado General de México en Austin 5202 E Ben White Blvd, Suite #150, Austin, TX, United StatesSaturday, April 6 at 12:00 p.m. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. This unique event for families will be held at the Consulate of Mexico in Austin. Teaching artists Cristina Flores and Monica Salas will engage kids through opera and music during this bilingual, one-hour interactive program and performance. The program content is ideal for children in grades K-3. However, kids of all ages and their caregivers will enjoy hearing Ms. Flores and Ms. Salas perform traditional arias and songs by Latinx composers.
